Wallinga Farmstay offers three self-contained accommodation options on a private farm, making it the perfect choice for a Mudgee holiday. Located just 5 minutes from Mudgee CBD, it’s a convenient base for families looking to visit the region.
Accommodation Options:
- Studio Cottage: This cozy option includes a Queen bed, a single bed, a private bathroom, and a kitchenette. Situated close to the family home, it’s ideal for those seeking a comfortable stay with easy access to all farm activities.
- Two-Bedroom Private Cottages: These secluded cottages offer breathtaking views, a private deck, and a firepit, making them perfect for family downtime. One cottage features a Queen bedroom and a bunkroom that sleeps four, accommodating up to six adults. The second cottage includes a Queen bedroom and two single beds, allowing up to four guests to stay comfortably. Portacot options also available. Linen and bath towels are provided for all cottages.
Farm Activities
Immerse yourself in a range of farm activities that vary with the seasons. Whether it's hand-feeding lambs, collecting fresh eggs from the chickens, participating in lamb marking, or even helping with fencing repairs, there’s always an adventure awaiting you. Our Location
Wallinga Farmstay is conveniently located 6km from Mudgee CBD along the Castlereagh Highway. A short 5-minute drive brings you to local shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the delights of Mudgee during your holiday.
With over 40 cellar doors in the Mudgee region, there are plenty to visit. Three local wineries are within a 5-minute drive from the farmstay. Enjoy magical views at First Ridge Estate, savor delicious lunches with a view at Logan Wines or indulge in brunch at Our Chow café, based at Burrundulla Vineyard, just 1km away.
